[Help] How to display the messages from xterm on GTK+ windows?

Hi all, 

Now i am going to build a small project, i hope to
display the message (error/warmings) from the xterm to
the GTK+ windows.  It is used to show the warmings
when i process something. Anyone knows? Please tell
me!

I desire to some the xterm messages in the GTK+ window
during the design of of GTK and i believe there should
have some related program or function to do so!  Isn't
it?
