Probably a good idea, although so far gtk+ has built properly without that
change... so I'll jump off that bridge later. =)

Yeah, so I guess we'll just have to wait for the developers to do it.  I
guess what I'm wondering is how THEY will fix it - with a wrapper
function, or is there something easier?

Solaris seems to cause problems with a large number of open-source apps
that I've seen.  Probably stems from the fact that most open-source
developers use Linux, which is the haven of open source, whereas Solaris
is proprietary (and expensive).
	I do really wonder why anyone still uses Solaris and Sun machines
in these days of free Linux and faster, CHEAPER CPUs.  I'm only using it
kuz it's what they have at work...
