configure problem on IRIX 6.5

Hi,

  I tried to configure gtk+ 1.2.8 on IRIX 6.5.1. But the configure script
cannot find X libraries. I looks like this

configure --{prefix=/usr/gnu,with-glib-prefix=/usr/gnu}

checking whether NLS is requested... yes
checking for libintl.h... no
checking whether catgets can be used... no
found xgettext program is not GNU xgettext; ignore it
checking for extra flags to get ANSI library prototypes... none needed
checking for extra flags for POSIX compliance... none needed
checking for glib-config... /usr/gnu/bin/glib-config
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.8... yes
checking for X... no
configure: error:
*** X libraries or include files not found. Check 'config.log' for
*** more details.

So, I looked into the config.log and it looks like this

configure:4537: checking for X
configure:4604: gcc -E  conftest.c >/dev/null 2>conftest.out
configure:4600: X11/Intrinsic.h: No such file or directory
configure: failed program was:
#line 4599 "configure"
#include "confdefs.h"
#include <X11/Intrinsic.h>
configure:4680: gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -Wall   conftest.c -lXt   1>&5
configure: In function `main':
configure:4676: warning: implicit declaration of function `XtMalloc'

Did any one configured and built gtk+ 1.2.8 on IRIX. If so, please mail me
off the list as I am not subscribed to the list.

Thanks

Ramesh Babu
