Handle box

  I have an application with a toolbar inside a handle box so that it
can be detached from the main window. I'd like to save the position of
the toolbar if it's floating and reload it next time the program is
executed but I couldn't figure out how to change the handle box to
"floating mode" when I create it. Is it possible to do this ?
