Bug (?) in ctree example in testgtk 1.12

I just built gtk+-1.12, and found what may be a problem in testgtk, in the
ctree example.
If you collapse a node, and the resulting tree doesn't fill the entire
height of the window,
then any nodes (prior to the collapse) below the bottom of the (collapsed)
tree are not
erased. Resizing the window correctly updates the display. The easiest way
to see
this is to just bring up the ctree example, and "collapse all." The top
node changes
appropriately - but the rest of the tree doesn't go away unless you resize
the window.
This is on Sun-solaris 2.5.1, with gcc 2.7.2.3.f.1 (2.7.2.3 with the fortran
additions)
