Thanks Shane! This and a fresh automake (as Ryan suggested) got gtk+ compiled
on my Linux box. Anyone else still having problems?
Now it's imlib I'm up against. Sorry if this is off-topic, but I couldn't get
through to redhat's sites (like the mail list archive or gnome) to search for
an answer or a better place to ask... autogen in imlib is giving me:
You should add the contents of `/usr/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to `aclocal.m4'.
aclocal: configure.in: 11: macro `AM_PROG_LIBTOOL' not found in library
automake: configure.in: installing `./install-sh'
automake: configure.in: installing `./mkinstalldirs'
automake: configure.in: installing `./missing'
utils/Makefile.am:90: variable `GTK_LIBS' not defined
utils/Makefile.am:90: variable `GTK_LIBS' not defined
automake: Makefile.am: installing `./INSTALL'
creating cache ./config.cache
./configure: syntax error near unexpected token `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
./configure: ./configure: line 529: `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'
Now type 'make' to compile imlib.
The first line might be the most telling, but which how should I add it?
#define? >>? Some sort of package statement? Or maybe that's just a harmless
warning and something else is the problem. Any tips (or redirection) would be
greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
