Arun Sharma had expressed an interest in working on it, but apparently
hasn't had the time to do much. With a recent patch from Magnus
Hulthen, the basic editing operations seem to be pretty stable.
I don't see word-wrap as a pressing issue. If you want to go further
than the simple line-wrapping present now, you'll either be turning it
into a word processor (distinction between hard and soft carriage
returns), or adding functionality to reformat a paragraph on
demand. It can certainly wait until after 1.0.
If I get a chance I may add selection capability this week - the only
hard part about is highlighting the selection on the screen properly.
What's the problem with text deletion?

Owen
