I'm OK with your fix, given that the branch is expiring soon,
and the chance of breaking the constraint left in the impure
thai-shaper is low.

Oh, yes. This also reminds me that the HAVE_X portions in CVS HEAD
thai-shaper.h aren't necessary now. Should it be removed?
