  this is a common error , when you have an RPM version & own compiled
one.

 set LD_LIBRARY_PATH
 export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib:/lib:/usr/lib:/usr/X11R6/lib:/var/lib:
$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
 also add /usr/local/lib in /etc/ld.so.conf  & run  ldconfig.
