It would have been nice to have more arguments for db2html - but it is
(for the most part) deprecated now. 

The new docbook utils are replacing it (including jw... jade
wrapper). jw does not let you change the error number - but it could
be easily added if needed... I don't think it is needed personally.

I would not worry about db2html - as Owen says, gtk-doc doesn't even
use it so it is not the problem here. You don't seem to have gtk-doc
installed correctly for usage here... Owen is much more experience in
this area and he is correct, it is a bit of a pain to set it up at
first.
