I should also have mentioned that in general MacPorts isn't compatible with gtk-osx. Their set up pollutes the global environment, so the linker will often find their libraries instead of the ones built with gtk-osx. I know that you two (Kris and Paul) are expert enough to fix that, but there are lots of folks out there who aren't -- hence the warning on the Building page Paul referenced.
