It works properly for me on Linux.
The glib-mkenums tool is a perl script. If it's segfaulting, then it's
probably a perl version or installation issue.
Arg! What I feared :/ I have the preinstalled perl 5.6.0 on this box 
(yeah I know there is 5.6.1 now, but this is how this box was 
shipped). Guess I should run some tests to see what is broken, any 
maybe I can upgrade to 5.6.1
