With a couple of minor fixes, mainly to the makefile.mingw(.in) and
.msc(.in) files, (already committed), GLib builds cleanly
out-of-the-tarball on Windows with gcc (mingw) and MSVC. The tests
also work, more or less, as well as they usually have.
As for GTK, I haven't yet tested. Probably might not even build on
Windows currently. Will have to wait for the weekend.
Should I commit the patches for autoconfiscated build of GTK on Win32
(and retire the makefile.mingw stuff)? I guess this might alienate
some people who have been able to build GTK+ using the
makefile.mingws, but might feel auto*/configure/libtool is way over
their head. OTOH, people used to these tools from Unix won't mind.
