I am sorry to ask a basic question. Was this the right list to post my queries or am I on the wrong list? If 
this is the wrong list, can someone point me to the correct list?

I need to create these glyphs and use them in the manner I described for an application. Is there a basic 
tutorial or is there another thread with this information?
