Bug and patch filled upstream for SINGLE_INCLUDES issue: [1]

Also, I've found some interesting threads about this topic here [2]
(Sept 2003) and here [3] (Jan 2004).
There was a initial RFC here: [4], attached in the bug [5] I posted in
the previous mail.
