troubles with gtkplot

  I´m having some troubles with gtkplot, from gtkextra (gtk+extra-2.1.1).
    I´m using the mouse to select a area, and zoon in it, and it  works, but when there is not any major tick 
in the selected area,  theres a segmentation fault, and I can't understand why..
  
    Someone knows how to fix it??
