Hi,
Having a problem using gdk_pixbuf_copy_area() to copy png files which
have alpha then and displaying in a window.
The code is based on demos/pixbuf-demo.c
I've uploaded a screenshot which shows the problem. I was hoping for an
orange background and four buttons, but as you can see there are artifacts
of some kind.

I'm completely new to GTK programming but am half-way through a book, have
gone through the full tutorial, and have spent a few hours reading around
this on the web. So, I've tried to do my homework, but I realise that I
have
more homework to do. If you can advise though, you might be able to shorten
that process a little.
Does anyone recognise this image corruption and could suggest what I could
do to avoid it?
Dermot.
