RE: My huge application, and my appologies - a followup

I just discovered something interesting: I built the program and tried to run it both on my desktop machine
(Mandrake 10) and on another (Mandrake 9). On my machine it is huge - 318MB - but on the other machine it is
about 6MB!

So - does anybody know anything about what settings I might have on the misbehaving machine that could cause
this?

Subject: My huge application, and my appologies
Friday I put the sources for my troublesome application on a server for people to download and have a look
at, but unfortunately I also screwed the code up a bit, I think, so I have put a new package there that I
actually expect to build with a simple make. Don't ./configure, it overwrites the Makefile so rdcfg.o and
rdhost.o aren't built, and the reference to -lpthread is lost.

It must be the heat - the airconditioning in our server room was broken this morning and one of our servers
has been sick all over the place. Bon appetit.
