Yes, there was a slight problem, the installation prefix compiled into
the libpango DLL didn't match the one in etc/pango/pango.modules
(which it should, so that pango will notice and replace it with the
actual installation prefix at run-time). There is now a new
pango-1.2.3.zip to download where this has been fixed. Or, you can
change all the /target paths in pango.modules to be your actual
installation path, c:/local in your case
