Dear all,
I have read
alot of the postings from this mail list, and noticed alot of people had the
same question I did.
Why don't the
Horizontal scroll bars work on Text Widgets ?.I'm writing this to see if someone
has some
info on if
they are now offered, or if they even will be. Also to ask, I'm looking for a
editable text area. While
the text
widget was perfect, (I don't know about you) , but I hate it when my source code
gets line wrapped. I now
see that I
cannot use it. So does anyone happen to know of another widget offered by GTK
that will allow me
to scroll
horizontally, vertically, and edit the text area ?
I've kinda
exhausted my resources, and am coming up empty handed. And this book on GTK+ I
have is
absolutely no
help. It's examples are BS, and it's source code obviously doesn't work,
considering thats where
I
learned , "How I could connect a horizontal scroll widget to a text
widget", and it even had
source code
to prove it. I don't about some authors.Oh well it's now my new fire starter.
