gtk file selection bug

If I select files a, b, c, d and e from file list and get the
list of selected files with gtk_file_selection_get_selections();
they come in e, a, b, c, d order.

Is this a bug or a guaranteed behaviour (so I can workaround it
and expect my code to work with future versions) ?
