Well I did recieve a similar report about a GTK+ styles problem.

Where when a GtkDrawingArea was created the GTK+ style passed to it
(using gtk_widget_set_style()) caused a crash within GTK+ at the moment
gtk_widget_realize() was called on the GtkDrawingArea.
