Hello Ujjwal,

afaik: using (Pearson's) correlation requires (approximately) normally distributed data; otherwise rank correlation, which you have to implement yourself with version 1.10.17.

This basically leads to testing for normal distribution and then using either Pearson or rank. "Adtest", "sftest" and others are implemented in version 1.10.17, Jarque-Berra is not but simply done.
