search-and-replace dialog

In search and replace dialog of openoffice, the 'search for' and
'replace by' are combobox with droplist to show previous text in the
same session, other option values are also kept.  Howerver gnumeric
seems always revert them to default or blank value on each call.
Would it be possible to let them persistent within the same session?
