Is there a simple way to configure a development sandbox for gnumeric?
Maybe some environment variables that cause it to look in non-standard
places for files?


Personnaly, I replace installed files on which I work by links to the
corresponding file in my devel tree. May be there is a better solution,
but I'm not aware of.
