online spreadsheet ?

Hi,



        I'm looking for some really excentric tool...
would you know if some work is being done on "online Spreadsheets",
either as a web front end to Gnumeric or as a web front end to another 
existing open source spreadsheet..

	the idea would be to use technologies like xforms (W3C standard), 
to cope with user input easily, (it allows much smarter application 
designs than the classical "click and wait" web applications), and make a 
portable application across platforms.

	maybe this kind of things already exists in the groupware suites 
like opengroupware, for example, or someone has already though that it 
would be nice to have such plugin ?
