Goodday to all. I am new to this list and would like to express my appreciation
for gnumeric and all the work done by the various contributors.

I would like to add a small function I have written (in C) to the project which
calculates the median of data in a grouped frequency distribution. Such median
calculations are typical in settings where questionaires have, for example,
5-point rating scaless for responses. 

How does one go about making a contribution?  :)
