scrollkeeper-update takes an optional "-o" flag or $OMF_DIR environment 
variable which gives a list of directories to be searched instead of the 
default.  We can use this to restrict scrollkeeper-update's attention to 
just the directory where Gnumeric has installed new documents.

That would avoid the surprise (and delay) of seeing gnome-games 
documents registered when installing Gnumeric.  If the gnome-games 
installer was broken and failed to register those documents when it 
should have, Gnumeric's installer will at least leave them in the same 
state.
