At least with the German version of MS Excel, <ctrl>-# toggles between
displaying formulas and calculated values...
What to do now?
The first step is to make a real list of them and organize it. Not
just the keys used by default, but the more important concept of
what behavior/command they bind to. The actual keys are likely to
be locale specific in spots, and we'll need a list for the
translators to check.
At the code level we'd probably start spliting the existing
implementations out into a distict file so that we can track what
commands are available. The start using eggmenu or bonobo to handle
more of the bindings rather than doing it directly in the canvas.
That would get us a step on the way to making them configurable.
Its a fairly long term project that would be interesting to play
with.
