removing ObjectToolbar

Hi,
I need to remove ObjectToolbar from gnumeric 1.1.17 but I can't achieve it.
I did the following
edit share/gnumeric/1.1.17/gnome-2.0/ui/GNOME_Gnumeric.xml file and remove
any antries about ObjectToolbar, didn't help.
I also remove ObjectToolbar\\0,3,0,0\\ from my ~/.gnome2/Gnumeric , didn't
help either, the entry was recreated again.
What else do I have to modify in order to remove this toolbar?
