cells and accent

Hello everybody,

I am running Gnumeric 1.0.13 on a FreeBSD4.8 and I have got a little
problem : when I use a letter with an accent (éàèëê etc ...), the end of
the senetence doesnot appear in the cells !? I see it very well in the
little window on the top of gnumeric but not in the cell ?

Any idea or solution ?
