I had a problem with exec the other day when I tried to run Gnumeric.
The error message reads:
exec() : 0509-036 Cannot load program /opt/freeware/bin/gnumeric because of
the following errors:
0509-150 Dependant module /cots/sybase12/OCS_12/lib/libintl.a
cannot be loaded
0509-103 This module has an invaild magic number
Has anyone else ran into this?
Dunno why this just arrived in my mailbox now but something seems
odd there. On all versions of unix that I am familiar with '.a'
files are static libraries, Why is a gnumeric looking at that file
for a dynamic dependency ? You need to find libintl* and ensure
that that directory is before
/cots/sybase12/OCS_12/lib
in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH
