i can make the ~3MB text file (comma-delimited) available for download
if you want.  the source is really a 5MB fixed-field-width setup, but
gnumeric just can't seem to understand how to read it (or i can't make
it read it correctly), so i had to do the conversion...

then you can work with the file.  we did pair down the data from ~10K
rows to ~1600rows, so it's a bit smaller than originally :)
