No. As of 1.1.1 this has not been imlemented.

I plan to implement this inthe cvs head branch within a month (or two). 
Of course this will then only be in the gnome2 version. Since this will 
require some significant changes it is very unlikely that it would be 
backported to the gnome_1_4 branch (1.0.x series of gnumeric.)
