Hi,
Here is v3 of the filelocking patch. This one incorporates a number
of the suggestions made earlier and should in general look a lot cleaner.
Diffed against 1.0.8, but it should apply against HEAD with some fuzz.
(actually, pretty large fuzz in some instance but hand-patching it
is relatively easy)
P.S. Note, this does not handle the 'readonly fs' case where
possibly the entire filesystem is readonly so locking gets kindof
pointless. Suggestions on how to deal with that are welcome.
