I am planning to make 0.7.4 a GNOME 2.x release, and then create a stable-0.7 branch for further GNOME 2.x releases. We can cherry-pick bug-fixes and backport sought after features from master to stable-0.7 if necessary. We can carry on with the march towards GNOME 3 on master and make 0.8.0 our first GNOME 3 release. The basic assumption is not to support both versions of GNOME in a single release. Comments? Happy hacking, Debarshi
