That's another good idea. H.350 proposes to authenticate people using
LDAP. However, I feel it is not so well-suited for large number of users
than the above approach.

The only problem is that :
- the LDAP server with the database backend must only list currently
online people => we need 2 tables, one with the registered users and one
with their info.

It is just a matter of ... However, in computer science, that is rarely
true ;)
