I know Video4Linux doesn't work on MacOSX.
I don't know for Firewire, but as Julien Said, wait 2 or 3 weeks for the
new plugins system to be included and mail again.

The Firewire part of GnomeMeeting depends on Linux libraries. I'm not
sure they work on MacOSX (libraw1394 and such)
