I'd recommend the FAQ's part which talks about firewall and NAT issues
because, if your sound works properly during the tests, it should also
work during a connection. Apart from that I personally don't think it's
a good idea to use artsd when using GM (the others: please correct me if
I'm wrong) but AFAIK artsd is not very "real-time-stable", e.g. there
could be delays not caused by the connection's latency but by artsd
itself.
