Hi Anne, checking the log i wonder if the permission problem on /dev/mixer* is having to do with this... Can you please attach a new copy with the altered permissions (which were made up throughout the mail thread).. As i don't use devfsd myself this is just random guessing, but the output doesn't tell much other problem which might be relevant. wishing you luck (and a working GM ;)) -- Best regards, Kilian
