I noticed this afternoon that using the supplied config (what I sent),
when booting the PC, the i810_audio does NOT load. If I load it
manually, the camera doesn't work in gnomemeeting (says something about
a color palette), but it DOES work in xawtv (just fine). Is this a
related, or different problem?
What about purchasing another SoundCard (say, SoundBlaster 16?) -- and
disabling the on-board audio?
IE, Setup:
- SB: Output from speakers
- Camera: Input from onboard Mic.
Can I do this with OSS? ALSA?
Sorry for the questions, but I'm still a little unclear in what I need
to use regarding sound drivers .... seems I only need ALSA if I use the
same sound card for input and output, and there is NOT a full-duplex
driver for OSS.
Thanks.
