Re: [GnomeMeeting-list] Yellowdog and ibot/firewire

- pwlib, with ./configure --the-right-option-to-compile-with-IEEE1394;
PWLIB uses no ./configure

http://www.openh323.org/fom-serve/cache/41.html has some info on what is being referred here.
- openh323;
- gnomemeeting.
Damien hasn't applied the firewire patches to gnomemeeting because they are too experimental anyway. You can safely use OhPhone from openh323.org though.
Notice that it isn't sure it will support your particular device, but if
you could report, that will be good to know, be it a positive or
negative answer...
Agreed here. Please do report any compatibility issues, because at least I am personally interested. Private mail is OK.

What kind of a camera is yours anyway? Could you post a link?

Well i'd be willing to try anything but to jump right in I would need step by step instructions... I really don't know enough about linux yet, but if anybody wants to talk me through it let go:). I promise I will report when I get to actually doing it, though not sure when it will be yet:).

My cam is made by Orange Micro http://www.orangemicro.com/ibot.html (not the pro model).

Thanks guys!
