just something i forgot to tell in my previous mails, but i use the
occasion to answer you , in this thread. I'm successfully using Sound
Blaster Live! Platinum with OSS kernel modules (emu10k1), if the audigy
card use the same module you could give it a try. (i think that's the
only case we could advice OSS modules instead of ALSA ones)
