That's normal, it doesn't start to record instantly. But if you talk
during 2 minutes, for example, you should hear yourself with 5 seconds
of delay.

That's normal. Now you have to do a call, watch out the statistics in
the control panel, and also make sure you used the appropriate
connection type in the druid. Alternatively, you can also come in
#gnomemeeting and ask for a test with someone. Nothing indicates that
the problem you are describing is not due to your friend.
