Because you know me. If you were a normal user, not related to the
project in any way, you wouldn't register on ILS to show GM is being
used. You would use ICQ to give your IP to your parents to call them.

At least, it is what I would do.

If I was not related to the project, and wanted to communicate with my
friends, I would use the new system : be callable using a callto://, but
not being listed because I don't want to be called by x and y, even if
calls are rejected, I want to keep my privacy.

PS: when you call somebody with a normal phone, you don't know if he is
at home or not.
