Hi, i've just made that test. alsa-record on snd-usb-audio with my headset oss-playback on my via soundcard.. after ~20s the transmission dropped to 0, and after like 60s my GM disconnected, but the remote MCU was still seeing me as connected.. looks like there's some major problem with alsa-record still ;) btw. i had for the next 3 starts a segfault (and now i'm running with gdb and it's gone) within gdb audio drops to 0 after ~50s.. disconnect after ~70s now testing with via as recording device (which has no mic, but just to make sure it's not snd-usb-audio) having a connection since 3min now and still sending/receiving.. looks like the problem is really the snd-usb-audio.. i just don't get why the oss-emu of it is working so fine. i'll keep the test running and let u guys know if there's any connection drop after more time with snd-via as input ... -- Best regards, Kilian
