Hi!
I think I already chose a different name for the `*.desktop` file on my
first attempt. I’ve now tried again, but it didn’t work again.
Just to make this sure: You don’t have to restart GNOME for the default
browser list to change, do you?

Yeah, I've noticed this before as well. I'd like to be able to set
Epiphany in Incognito mode as my default browser, but after
duplicating the .desktop for it with the right command line args in
~, it doesn't show up in the list. So maybe it's being ignored as a
duplicate, or because it's in ~ not /usr, or maybe Settings is
ignoring it for some other reason?
