No, all translations are made out of Plone, in the domain of GNOME
i18n team, as discussed last year. If someone wants to help
translating she needs to contact the corresponding translation team.
At the end the permission levels are 3 in Plone:
- Member: you can create and edit pages but someone needs to review
your work and publish.
- Reviewer: you can publish/unpublish.
- Admin: you can manage users and do/break many other things.
Well, it's perfectly possible to create additional roles (of which
Member, Reviewer and Manager are the default) and give them whatever
permissions you want, via a custom workflow (which defines states and
transitions, including the assignment of various permissions in a state
and various guards on who can perform which transitions).
However, we normally advise people to start out with the default and
only grow additional roles, groups and workflows if they really need them.
