bugzilla triage

Hi,

I went throught gnome-vfs bugs, and found several bugs with quite simple
patches attached, it would be worth to apply them imo.

These are :

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77392 adds
icon_filename=gnome-tex to text/x-tex mime type
(not sure it's a valid bug, but if it is, there is a simple patch which
should be applied imo)

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86862 Ftp listing fails on
microsoft ftp server
(tested it and it works)

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=42800 (improves one of the
tests, can't hurt to have that in)

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=88771 (fixes an assert, I
don't know if the fix is correct)

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90702 fix for configure.in
--with-openssl-includes not honored

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47480 (solaris build fix,
someone with a solaris box should tell what he thinks about it)

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=96078 (HP/UX build fix,
someone should test it)

Here is also two bugs which are quite old but still relevant imo, and
which are quite ugly, but shouldn't be too difficult to fix:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41085
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=41279

Btw, what is the rule for uris passed as char * with respect to escaping
? the path/filename should always be escaped, and the various methods
should first unescape it, or something else ?

I also closed several bugs which were related to gnome-vfs 1.0 but fixed
in 2.0, I hope that's ok.
I kept those 1.0 bugs, but they probably could be closed:
69141 (gnome-vfs2 no longer depends on gtk)
69171 (now we use pkgconfig)
73191 (gnome-vfs now has this patch applied except for the module_flags
part)
73192 (as I understand it, there are no longer backends in
gnome-vfs2,anyway the file mentioned in the bug report no longer exists)

Finally, here is a list of bugs I preferred asking there what to do with
them before modifying them:
40458: do you think it is fixed by the recently added access-like API ?
41130: probably fixed in newer glib ?
42801: I'm inclined to mark it as wontfix since I don't understand at
all how gnomevfs woudld handle that, and what it would bring
78441: is my comment correct ? if so, it can be closed
95501: probably can be marked as WONTFIX since it is possible to
indicate gnome-vfs where to look for its modules
48255: any idea if this bug is still relevant ?

Hope this bug list is helpful, and that someone will have time to take a
look at it,

Cheers,

Christophe
