Hi guys,
So - as I said I would, and as agreed, I'm eager now to convert the gob
stuff (from prototype form) into crisp, readable, authoritative C
headers / source.
So - I set off on my noble task - and notice there is only 1 gob file;
gnome-vfs-metadata.gob. It seems to expose a new API - it appears to
provide a meta-data read/write API similar to
libnautilus-private/nautilus-directory-metafile.h.
It appears to be unfinished; inasmuch that it exposes no 'boolean'
accessor, and I've no idea how it ties in with notification - I remember
there was a thread on this a while back, but not the conclusion.
In short - do we in fact need this code ? or can I just disable the
build / linkage of the gob stuff, leaving the file for the next
iteration of development ?
Thanks guys,
Michael.
